ff Campus Freedom Despite the cold winter days, walking into campus dressed like a mummy, looking so scary that no one would give me a ride, I have really enjoyed living off campus this year. It is nice to have your own home, your own space, a place where you can be quiet and alone when you need to be. Be- sides the chance for solitude, one of the nicest things about living off campus has been to have a place for your friends to come to get away from campus, and have a good talk, a good party, or a good meal. Food is definately a plus for living off campus. If you are really busy and don't have the time to cook you can lose weight, or you can fix your gourmet dinners and enjoy gain- ing every inch of fat. Off campus students have their own little community. I have become alot closer to some people since living off campus. It has also been nice to become more a part of the Lamoni com- munity. There are alot of wonderful people in the town to meet, and they enjoy getting to know students. Off campus people don't stay away from campus, they just go there when they want to or feel the need to. Living off campus gives you more freedom and with the freedom more responsibility.
