The fwo youfhful minds and hearfs quickly see in fhe swiff days which follow fhaf Graceland is a unif: if is a wholesome, enioyable, friendly or- ganizafiong if is a family. One day fhey meef fhe head of fhis family, Presidenf George N. Briggs. Eager fo meef fhis man who is fhe guide of Graceland members, yef hesifanf, fhe boy and fhe girl wifh shy glances, exfend nervous, cold hands. The pair of young hands meef and grasp a friendly, warm one and immediafely fhere is a bond befween fhe man and fhe youfhs, and if is a permanenf bond. .A genfle, dignified, kindly man wifh a slighf sfoop and sunshiny eyes, aided by an infecfious smile is fhe Chief.
