We are A N safe in saying that those who come back to Graceland for their third year of gc I college work are representative of the ablest and most efhcient group of the V: :Q student body. N When we look over the personnel of this class, we are aware that it consists :4 L of those who have been highly successful during the past three years and who V: : have accomplished work deserving favorable commendation. Two years ago last ,Q fall several of our outstanding athletes ot their start on the gridiron, later in that V4 g r fs' year some few of the class survived the College Player tryouts and began the pf . experience which led to their taking leading roles in several of the major produc- y , . . . . ,y tions of that organization. The juniors have undoubtedly won thelr share of P4 LN points toward receiving pennants for their societies in the various intra-mural A contests. They have done outstanding work particularly in debate, extempo- tg raneous speaking and declamatory contests. ln scholarship they have attained :4 :Y a high standard. Their participation in social affairs is evident by their mem- U1 N bership in the various leading social organizations. ln fact these juniors have been leaders in everything promoting present and ultimate self-satisfactory devel- P4 :Q opment as well as the best good for the group.
