March was highlighted by a series of sessions on the life and Work of a pas- tor. Dr. Howard Sugden was the guest speaker. His messages included such topics as A Portrait of Paul, Convic- tions of a Pastor, and The Battles of a Pastor. The annual Christian Education Confer- ence Was held in April. Dr. Gene Getz led inspirational chapel sessions. An integral part of the conference was the various workshops, led by faculty and students, with subjects ranging from youth programming to teaching Greek to laymen. Dr. Sugden consults Dr, I-loyt before chapel convenes. Spring brings profitable conferences Alan and Dr. Getz enjoy an informal chat. Phil Taylor leads an interesting workshop on the use audio-visual equipment in the church,

and blesses our hearts. Grace College students add a special note of praise to the chapel program. Gordon manipulates a marimba quite well--four hands at a time! Larry and Gene combine their voices to glorify the Savior. 17 i

Youngmark, Mid, Class Pres, and cz student councilproject. The Homiletics Lab is well equipped with audio-visual helps, The Student Council serves Grace students in many Ways by promoting better semi- nary life, dealing with student problems and aiding student-faculty relationships. During the spring semester the Council sponsored a project to buy needed books for the library and additional equipment for the Homiletics Lab. The seminary will benefit greatly from the project.
