Bible and Science Conference. . . What about evolution? Really, how old IS the earth? These and other questions were debated during four days of special lectures in the latter part of September. Guest lecturer was Dr. Harold Slusher, Professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. A Well informed man, Dr. Slusher provided intriguing facts sup- porting his view of a youthful earth. Dr. Slusher clarifies a point with Dave Southwell and Dr. 1 9 Whitcomb after chapel. Missionary Conference. . . October 12-15 marked the dates of the annual Missionary Conference. joint sessions were held with Grace College. Chapel sessions, prayer times, films and specialized workshops provided in- formative and challenging times for the students. Chapel programs dealt with such practical themes as Prayer and the Power of God and God's Will for Me in Missions. The workshops re- volved around different geographical fields of work. Special speakers for the week were Rev. Wayne Beaver, Foreign Missionary Societyg Rev. Richard Winchell, The Evangelical Al- liance Mission, and Dr. Charles Piepgrass, Unevangelized Fields Mission. Gary Cole leads students in the conference theme song Pass It On.

Demons .V Demons! On November 2-5 a special Conference on Biblical Demonology was held at Grace, with the guest speaker being Dr. Merrill F. Unger, of Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Unger is a well-known authority on the subject of demonic activity and is the author of a very thorough book on the sub- ject, BIBLICAL DEMONOLOGY. Grant Rice Tour During Thanksgiving vacation the World Missions Fellowship sponsored the first Church Planting Seminary in the form of a tour of churches led by Rev. Grant Rice, missionary to mid -America and the Paul of the trip. The purpose of the journey was to see New Testament principles in action. The team covered 991 miles in Illinois and Wisconsin. Small in stature but powerful in delivery!
