The fall retreat introduces on The morning of September 22 dawned clear and chilly as seminary students, wives and faculty members made their Way to Camp Mack near Milford, ind. for the annual Fall Retreat. Having gathered in the auditorium the group heard an inspir- ing challenge from Prof. French. It was easy to identify with his quip, Unaccus- tomed as I am to speaking in an igloo. . . I The group welcomed a breakfast of donuts and coffee following Mr. French's talk. Then came the activities. Some students and faculty members indulged in a rousing softball game. Wives cheered, inspired by Mrs. Fink's spirited yells to various and sundry players. The Skins and the Shirts clashed in a football game. Wives pitched in with their husbands in exciting volleyball games. Others enjoyed quieter activities such as rowboating and indoor games. Students and wives listen attentively to Prof. French's challenge. Donuts and hot coffee hit the spot on a chilly morning. 1 1 1 2 Pent-up emotions vent themselves as the Shirts and Skins Q battle to the finish. el
