This year's speaker, Ken Poure of Hume Lake Christian Camps in California, challenged us with basic biblical truths we could apply in our own lives. Personal Christian growth was encouraged and many spiritual commitments were made. 'i l X V31 'vga X . The theme, Be f ' b ing Fitted Together' was taken from Ephesians , T 2:21, where' Paul speaks of believers as parts ' V, of the temple of the Lord with Christ as our cornerstone, all growing together. 54 i Qlihlv Glnnfvrvnrv l The annual Grace Bible Conference was held on February 10-13th this year. During these four days, we were privileged to listen to such incomparable speakers as, Dr. Harold Lindsell, Dr. lay Adams, Dr. Warren Wiersbe and Mrs. Sue Burnham, the special speaker for the Women's Conference. Over twenty ses- sions were held throughout the Conference including workshops, special messages and general sessions. Bugs nf Hragrr The fall and spring days of prayer provided a unique spiritual experience for both students and faculty. Christian brothers and sisters were drawn together into a bond of love. Chapel services and prayer times were held in the morning, and afternoon classes were cancelled to give students an opportunity for quiet times, personal prayer and Bible study. ..---sv--p Elnitiaiinn I am a lowly freshman . . . was the saying of the week early this fall during freshman initia- tion. The freshman class was awakened to the sound of banging on doors and yelling in the halls at five in the morning. Their daily routine consisted of putting on their clothes inside out and singing loudly. They were not allow- ed to use utensils in the cafeteria during their own special day. The annual Beanie Bowl was won by the sophomore class and the freshmen wore the traditional red and white beanies. i Q Munir Lfinuil Gilman Ariiuiiiva The class activities helped bring excitement to the students while they came away from their studies. The activities included the Freshman class sponsoring Donkey Basket- ball, the junior class bringing in the lmperials, and the Seniors sponsoring Slave Day, and Rip Your Roommate. . Wm 64 Q Lflrnthrr - Sviztvr Burnt Hurting Each dormitory hall this year merged with a specific brother or sister hall in which they would plan activities and parties together. The parties varied from eating out in a nice restaurant, to playing games in the gym one night a week. These activities were not only a lot of fun, but were also a great way to build lasting relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ. we , .f W -J+- 211. Burnt Qlunhihz Dorm life is a unique experience, only ex- plainable by those who have been there. Many of life's important lessons are learned in such settings. Upon graduating from college, most would agree its good being away from the dorm, but the fact still remains that it was here where some of the happiest memories and closest friendships were made. e f ils 1 3. fr, Q fl ' Q2 45, My t ,,. -6:1 ' .sv 01. t ll Av 'M- V ,L g , X M Chr lfzunp Bored?
