King's Counselors The Board of Education is a group of local citizens who give a great deal of their time to the problems which arise monthly at Gowanda High School. Members of the Board are elected by popular vote of the school district. This past year Ralph Schaack, jr., was elected to complete the term of H. Sinclair Gannon, which expires this year. The Board has many responsibilities, such as acting as an intermediary for the school and the State Education Department. The selection of a principal and ol' teachers is also an important task for the Board. They do all this and more to guide us on our road to learning. Students and Board members do not often come in close contact with one another, but we realize that without them our school would soon fail to function.
