“Our Town” GHS Drama Takes to the Road . . . This year’s fall production of Our Town came off smoothly. This Thorton Wilder play led us through the lives of two families and other individuals in the small town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. The “Stage Manager,” who led us through the story, was played by Chris Anderson. The other two leading roles of “Emily” and “George” were played by Kristen Mossing and Robert Brown respectively. Following a Friday and Saturday night performance, Out Town members traveled to the Edwards school stage and per- “Part Yaow!” “Where are the guys?” formed for the students there. In exchange the Edwards Drama dept, came to perform Spoon River An- thology. We all hope this idea becomes a tradition among local schools. Mrs. Joan Taylor is to be commended for her volunteer work with our drama department. 18

(graduation 1983 marked the 95th commencement ceremony at Gouverner Central School. The outdoor program was highlighted by speeches from Kathy Har- ron, Lisa Mills and Lynn Rich. Classmates and parents looked on with mixed emotions at this milestone.
