A WISH Things seemed hesitant at first, but the Class of 1980 pulled through to produce an excellent Junior Prom. The theme was, Wish Upon a Star. Chosen as king and queen were seniors Nick Carbone and Jayne Gi- rard. Bill Hatch and Jackie Kitchen were prince and princess. The attendants were Shelly Spilman and Gerry Mannigan. Under the leadership of Mr. Barry French, class members cut hundreds of tin stars, cre- ated beautiful murals, and even built a whale to turn the Prom into a wonderful success. Welcome friends, says Mr. French Lonnie Manning and Shelley Spilman enjoy the evening's music. Gerry Mannigan, Bill Hatch, Jackie Kitchen, and Shelly Spilman. Gerti Premm and Bruce Knowlton buy their tickets for a fun filled evening. 4 OPENING

Mrs. Hunt proves you're not getting older, you're getting better. Jayne Girard is queen for the evening. IN SEARCH . . . FAR OFF LANDS AND DISTANT SHORES August 7-28, six students went to France, aided by the Rotary Club. These people were Patti Andrews, Martha French, Trish Grout, Henry Leader, Kathy Mullen, and Joan Johnson. While there they lived with host families in different parts of France. Some went to other countries such as: Belgium, England, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. During these three weeks they visited the disco- theques, drank the wine, and met native countrymen from all over Europe. Henry Leader expressed it best by saying, I want to go back!
