Born in Korea, Wendy Smith is as much a part of Gouverneur as any native. An accomplished musical talent on clarinet and piano, Wendy has used her musical ability to benfit our school band and church choir. With 4 years of cheerleading to help her, she entered the Miss Teenage N.Y.S. competition last summer. Al- though she did not win, she certainly did very well by making third runner up. David also took part in the 4-H County Teen Council. For hobbies, he likes raising and training horses. In his spare time he works at a local grocery store.
