Listen: 'd Friendship, a communication of our love and fears, is a precious possession. To grasp and share friendship, to recognize beauty in the people around us is, perhaps, one of the most poignant lessons Edward has left us. In essence, he proved to us that simple friendship is pro- found love. We shall remember Edward as a vigorous participant in a wide variety of community and school activities. His contributions in journalistic, artistic, musical, and intellectual forms were charact- erized by intense energy and innovation. As our classmate, he ex- celled academically and continually shared his talents and achieve- ments with us. The memory of Edward is colored by his easy spontaneous smile and his ability to reach out and understand. The pain of his death, the disbelief and shock, are the final memories we must share. Rec- ognition and respect for what Edward did, the deep impressions he left in many of us, is our purpose in dedicating our Deanonian | him in 1975. 2
