WARDS „, , i- ,' I School blazing a trail for green youth, administration urging the fate of children unyielding beneath burdensome tasks guiding arrows for dark minds pupils stopping looking listening. The class of 1966 dedicates this Deanonian to Mr. Morgan in apprecia- tion for the knowledge he gave us through his teaching at Gouverneur. We will cherish the memories of his classes and homerooms after we, too, are gone. He dedicated himself for our advancement. 3 YEARBOOK STAFF Editor-in-chief . . Layout editor ... Over the past years we have acquired valuable knowledge, developed lasting friendships and prepared to start a new life for ourselves with the knowledge that has been gained here as the foundation. I pray that these years have served to make us better men and women, who are willing and able to accept the challenges set before us. She lives with her mother and brother in a small dark backroom of their grandmother’s crowded hut. As indi- cated by her letters, Thi Le is the best pupil in her class and one day hopes to become a teacher. The Student Council’s purpose is to provide Le with food such as rice and corn, clothing such as sandals, raincoats and material, and various odds and ends a child needs. The $15.00 a month they send assures her of a better life and education. OUR FRIENDS - 48 Juan came to Gouverneur from the Central American country of Costa Rica and is staying with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Netto and family.
