Ann llattersby and Diane Forsythe won Medical Technology Scholarships from St. Lawrence University. james Xlhittaker was this year's recipient of the Rouse Scholarship. Stephen Adler won the high individual honors in the l'i Mu lfpsilon Mathematics Contest held at St. Lawrence. The team from Gouverneur, con- sisting of Stephen Adler, Trudy Austin and Alan Griffith, placed first in this contest. Laurence Sheldon was the winner of a Sears Foundation Scholarship, granted under the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Laurence was one of 850 winners selected from a group of 480,000 scholarship seekers. Stephen Adler and Laurence Sheldon were finalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition. Stephen Adler was a finalist in the National Honor Society Competition. Alice Tait received the Betty Crocker Award.
