DIEIDIIQATIIUN Here, before the moment of departure, before the final loos- ening of the ties that make of us a class, let us take a moment to think of those who broke the ties a little sooner, who left us to go as individuals-alone-before the class. Some have left to marry, some to Work. To these We Wish a happy life. One We lost by tragedy. For Richard Beckstead We feel a special loneliness this June. Some have gone to serve their country and the worldwide cause of free nations. We hold fast to the hope that we may see again Paul Edwards, missing in action in Korea. For Richard Peck, wounded, we wish a full and speedy recovery. For all the others We Wish a safe and happy return. Our class is smaller than it might have been this June, but in our thoughts all those who once Walked with us into our first assembly will Walk with us out of our last.
