Jennifer Lynn Allen “Jenn” If you want to get eggs you can’t buy at a store, You have to do things never thought of before. Why to get at the egg of one very small Dawf, We had to pry all of one mountain top off! Then I heard of some birds who lay their eggs, if you please. That taste like the air in the holes of Swiss cheese, And they live in big Zanzibar — Zanzibar trees! So I ordered a treeful. The job was immense. But I needed those eggs and said, “hang the expense!” All through with the searching, All through with the looking, I had all I needed! And now for the cooking .. from “Scrambled Eggs Super” By Dr. Seuss, eh? Thank you Gould Academy (and Rowdy). With love and laughter, Jenn. Jennifer Griffen Then wilt thou not be loth To have this paradise, but shalt possess A paradise within, the happier far ... — John Milton (Paradise Lost) Not that the story need to be long But it will take a long while To make it short — Thoreau Way to be Little bingo! --Jf 18

Barbara Ritter “Barb” Activities: J.V. Field Hockey, Ski Team, Tennis Thank you to everybody who understood that I couldn’t speak English at the beginning and who helped me. I would like to thank any teachers and all my friends. I lived in Gehring Hall on the noisy third floor. My best friend Tucker often woke us up by barking when she was let out by Miss Mellett. But this year means a lot to me and I’ll remember this time, when I’m back in old Germany. Katy Holden Life to me is not measured in years, but instead, in smiles, laughter and tears. Thank you very much to everyone who made these four years special. 17

Michelle Prince Friends; unknowingly filling my soul with little things; a quick smile or a laugh down the hall. Being there; doing anything; doing nothing, filling my life. If I learned one thing, I learned a million. But the most important thing I learned is to open up and let the friends in. Gaining forever a part of them, and they forever a part of me. Through pleasant and through cloudy weather we’ve been friends together. Do not say to me “good night, time to go.” wake me up tomorrow and bid me “hello.” Ruth Wescott Happiness is like time and space, We make and measure it ourselves; It is a fancy, As big, as little, as you please; Just a thing of contrasts and comparisons. — George Louis Palmella Busson DuMaurier “I always contradicted myself. My defense is, at least it shows I’m thinking.” — Sting. Thank you Gould for giving me opportunity and help- ing me achieve. Thanks Mich. Thanks Mom. 19
