1978 Gould Academy Herald Dedication The Class of 1978 would like to dedicate the 1978 edition of the Gould Academy Herald to Francis Hf Berry in the hope of expressing gratitude and appreciation for the many contributions he has made to the school community. ♦During his 2 Vt years at the Academy. Mr. Berry was involved in several facets of the school community. As a teacher, he sought to insure an understanding of the subject he taught, mathematics. As a coach, he worked to instill the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship, and pride in playing for the school. As an advisor, he showed interest and concern for a student’s well-being. ♦Enough could never be said about how much this one man has done for Gould Academy. His many contributions will not be forgotten. ♦Good luck to Bear” and his family always. 2 3 Autographs Charles Hurd 13 years A.B.A.. B.S. Thomas College. U. of Maine Orono Business Manager. Caring is the antithesis of simply using the other person to satisfy one's own needs . . . Through caring for certain others, by serving them through caring, a man lives the meaning of his own life. In the sense in which a man can ever be said to be at home in the world, he is at home not through dominating, or explaining, or appreciating, but through caring and being cared for. -Milton Mayeroff If we only have love then tomorrow will dawn and the days of our years will rise on that morn.
