Text from Pages 1 - 156 of the 1973 volume:

Leaflets abounded as the election drew near, As supporters for each candidate bended your ear. One if for McGovern, two if for Tricky Dick, And we were the ones who had to make the pick. Questions arose As to which courses we should fake So to our advisors we went To help determine our fate?? v Socializing was important And with no place to go A cool diet-rife with lemon Helped to soften the blow. 31M5uth M hwy , Wt m Wm vmmr wmmum1n Already we grew curious for a place To which we could escape, But what could we do Without a Friday night date? To The P.O. we wen? To Find us a ride, 50 in our room We would not have to hide. HI. ChidNJS mm 3037 $55!! UWILQPES MIU HAVE 1 85785? moans mm L ,mwazmww M With little work To do, The fun could begin. So what could we do Except break open the gin? All Hoppies are known There were pretzels and chips For their sensitive ear, To go all around. And before we knew it, Still, being with them They began to appear. Was really a down. Give me an Give me an Give me o Give me another What do you get? a picnic. 1 01 0 Two weeks had gone by Before things started hopping. To the mixer we went To hear some hard-rocking. For the girls it was free All others a buck. Now isn't that reasonable, Just to try your luck? 1O Nostalgia then sfruck us And madness abounded. The greasers slid in And we were all astounded. The books were all piled Clear up to the ceiling, And in the pit of our stomach Was that same queasy feeling. The homework assignments Kept rolling in. Thus we were made yTo pay for our sins. A day of relief Was not too Far away, As Ailey and Company Put on quite a display. 16 Marvin Banks Perry Jr. Our story is not over We've iust yet begun, Here are our faculty Each and every one. To them we give Our thanks and good cheers, For the knowledge they've imparfed Which will last us through the years. Rhoda Dorsey Martha Nichols Joan S.
