Mr. England received his Master's degree and Bachelor’s degree from Central State University. From Oklahoma University, he received his Superintendent's certificate. Among his duties in running our school. Mr. England is the Student Council Sponsor. JJifk School Pri Mr. Black, a principal with a firm hand, but a friend to us all. has been with Gotebo schools for eight years. Mr. Black attended Southwestern Okla. State University where he received his Bachelor's and Master’s degree. Among his duties as principal, Mr. Black is the teacher of Eighth Grade Math, and Algebra I and II. d femen tary f rincipa( Mrs. Johnson, the one who has guided our elementary children with a firm and understanding nature, has been a teacher at Gotebo for nineteen years. Mrs. Johnson received her Bachelor's degree from Southwestern Okla. State University. He was named ‘Coach of the Year for the girl’s class A-B basketball during the 1984- 85 season. Coach Treadwell put in many long hours during this past season coaching both the junior high and high school boys and girls basketball teams. In addition, he also teaches Typing I, Accounting I, and II, and business math. View 62 59 Dill City 56 54 Dill City 58 76 11-13 The Gotebo Hornets had a very good season this year even though their win Ioss record didn't show it. The Hornets were awarded the Sport- smanship Trophy at the Roosevelt In- vitational Tournament in December. This award was voted on by the coaches who chose the team displaying the best sportsman-like conduct dur- ing the tournament. Also, Mike Jones was named Honorable Mention on the All-Tournament team. Rodney Hulett won the Free Throw Contest that was held during the tournament by hitting 13 out of 15 free throws. In January our boys captured the third place title in the Kiowa Co. Tournament by defeating the Granite Pa thers. At the end of the season Rodney Hulett. Jr. and Mike Jones, Sr. were named All-Conference. The contestants are required to fill out a personal data sheet, write an essay, and fill out a questionnaire all pertaining to history, and all work is handwritten. This is the 1st year Goteho has participated in this event. The faculty chose Miss Lori Watkins to repre- sent Gotebo School.
