THE SCARECROW CREEPS This is a three act comedy and mystery, which takes place in the Gage Manor, where Roderick Gage has invited all his relatives to spend the week-end. The relatives arrived at the Gage Manor with the in- tentions of hearing Roderick read his will, but instead he told them of the Carita Diamond, which has been stolen and hidden from the Gage family many years ago. Many strange things happened while searching for the diamond, a scarecrow was seen prowling in the garden in the dark, a rocking chair rocked by it- self, lights going on and off, and the disappearance of Roderick. With the help of Dr. Kenneth Gage, Norma Gage found the Carita Diamond, which was hidden behind the pendulum of the clock. The ghostly body of Roderick Gage hanging in the bay window caused Adam 'I'hrogg, the butler, to confess the stealing and hiding of the diamond. Roderick revealed that the Carita Diamond was a fake and turned his fortune and estate over to Norma Gage and Dr. Kenneth Gage on the condition that they marry. CAST Adam Throgg . Maudie Hobbs .
