As the curtain falls on the first act and we go to the Lounge, we meet Mr. and Mrs. John Stoffer. Mrs. Stoffer is the former Ada McBride. They are the owners of a large cattle ranch in Texas. After renewing old ac- quantances, we start back to our seats when we see a crowd of people push- ing two fellows around demanding autographs. On closer look we See that it is Bill Gotschall, the owner of the sensational Cleveland Buckeye Basket- ball Team, with his star center, Jim Ramsey. He set a new world's record for shooting baskets. They were flown in from Chicago by Wolford Airlines. Larry just acquired the airline and Jim Taylor is the chief pilot. The second act has just begun when we reach our seats and the new sen- sational singing team, Peggy Criss and Harry Bowker, are introducing a song which we think will soon be on the Hit Parade. Just now there is a commotion and we must stand to let Annette Bush, the noted writer, whose latest book is NHOW To Enjoy Readingu go by. The reason she was late was due to the fact that she got the wrong taxi. It happened to be from WStratton's Better Late Than Neveru Taxi Service owned by Marilyn Stratton. She had to drive it herself because her driver, Clif- ford Virden, was called out to bring the four-star general, Ernest Pifer, from the Queen Mary. He has just returned from active duty in the Pacific. On the way he picked up Ida McBride who was also on the ship. She is Er- nest's traveling secretary. Now that the second act is over,we are invited to go back stage by the famous director, Myron Stallsmith, followed by his 'second brainn Glenda Whitacre. She is the highest paid secretary in the U. S. today as she is always present to see that all appointments are kept. We notice the beautiful scenery drawn by the well-known artist, Carl McCartney. we are introducted to his wife, the former Marilyn Headland, who also acts as his secretary. While we were back stage, one of the stage hands broke his ankle, and they rushed him to the Wyatt Hospital. Janet's head nurse is Sylvia Roth. we know that the stage hand will get the best of care. We got back to our seats just as the third act begins. Looking again at the box seats, we see Sir Donald Blasiman. He inherited a Castle and grounds in England where he is experimenting with a new cow medicine guar- anteed to UKill or Cure.U Beside him is that Wall Street broker, Ronnie Felgar, and Norman Haessly. Ronnie made his money from stock invested in Norman's Clunker Car Corporation, the biggest car manufacturer in the world. After sitting back and seeing the rest of the show, we find the haze once again grows heavy and a clear crystal ball once again is all we can see, as the door of our past slowly closes.
