Property of Alleghany Highlands Genealogical Society As Time Goes By”— Lane GOSHEN HIGH SCHOOL FOREWORD On the pages of this, our 1958 edition of Goshen have recorded many everday and thrilling experiences. As time goes by, our memo¬ ries will be of things we can neither see, nor touch, nor say--the memories of Goshen High School. Y ou will see m o r e in the pictures than we could photograph; you will remember more than the words printed on the pages. We have tried to recall emotions along with events, feelings along with facts. % ' K- .throughoutthe years that trans¬ spire Hold thy memory dear. 2 Because of her enthusiasm for her work as teacher in the Goshen Elementary School, her friendliness and genuine interest in all students, we, the Seniors of 1958, respectfully dedicate our edition of the Goshen Memories to a true friend and teacher, Mrs. Ted Towberman. 3 As time goes by we become more aware of the challenge which life brings to us. As time goes by our lives are made richer and fuller by work and play. Lest we forget as time goes by let each remember that the wheel of fortune will smile on the ones who work for success and have a purpose of life. A s time goes by each will get mellow and gray, but these are the days when life will be good to us. 4 Mrs. D. E, Withrow, Jr. English, Science Mrs. A. R.
