riendship Remains 4.39- . .ah . 4 A Q ff In '3v'xl't.':1'2Nw. 150' 'X'K5.' v 0 , I -- I Exchange Students Seniors Claudia Wurth, from Germany, and Corinna Ganzoni, from Italy. were the exchange students who visited G.H.S. in ,79- '80. Both attended the full year and graduat- ed with the class of 1980. When asked how she liked the U.S., Corrinna said, I was very happy to get a chance to visit. It was some- thing I have wanted to do for a long time. It is much different than I thought it would be. In many ways I like it. But there are some things that make me want to go home. Both girls saw vast differences in the way high school students choose friends. They felt that in their cultures students were more open to accept people. They felt that here in the U.S. there is much pressure to conform to peer group standards. Both also expressed happi- ness at being able to visit thc U.S.. but both looked forward to their returns home. On thc left is Claudia Wurth. on thc right, Corinna Ganzoni.
