Joey ngold Meet Amy Ingold most of us know her as Joey She works at Cripe Abstract Co Inc When asked how she likes her job Joey re plied I like it I work with my family and that I really enjoy I m not good on the phone and thats a large part of my job but lm getting better What exactly do you do' I do some bookkeeping and a little cleaning and whatever else needs to be done My fa vorite part of my job is playing backgammon with my brother Ken on slow days! Scot Eyer Scott Eyer is an employee at McDonalds in Goshen Scot puts nearly 30 hours of work in a week and attends school a full day When asked if he liked his job Scot replied Yes I like it most people think it looks like a real easv job and in a way It is but Ive seen people come and go and know that not eyery one can do it True it s not what I want to do forever What are you doing with your earn ings Scot replied I m planning on going to college and for now I put most of my money in the bank and what I dont I put into my car Scot also said he really liked his job and the people he worked with on both sides of the counter Y! Sheila ork Sheila York is a sophomore and very' much involved in school. But even so, she puts in I5-20 hours of work a week at the Dairy Queen on Lincoln Way East. When asked what she did for her job she had this to say: I'm a cashier, cook, cleaner and ice cream maker. You see. I do a little of everything. Do you enjoy your job? Yes, I like the peo- ple I work with and most of the customers and besides. It's a lot of fun. What do you do with the money you earn? I buy the stuff I want that my parents won't. Do you feel more independent having my own income? Yes I do, I think having to take care of your own money' and having a job is a good thing for any high school kid.
