School Came Allve Wlth Splrlt After the Splrut Week polnts were tallued up between classes the sensors scored furst junnors second and the sophomores followed wuth thlrd The classes were judged on enthusuasm and partlclpatuon In the week s 3CtlVItleS During the Homecomlng game s half tume festuvutues each of the losung class presndents were presented wuth a ple an the face Although the sensors won the class competltuon the entire student body showed enough spurlt to edge the football team onto a 14 12 homecoming vlctory over DeKalb The week s actuvutles conslsted of Brulsed Baron Day Jock Day Dress up Day Clashlng Clothes and Sunglasses Day and summnng up the week on Fruday was Bag Red and Hat Day All through the week the students splrlt took many forms We saw Mark Danforth and Phul Barley dressed up as nurses whsle Jeff Roth and Cralg Harrns were ln wheel chanrs And of course Jock Day wouldn t be the same wnthout four guy cheerleaders Thus year the student body showed more enthusl asm partuclpatlon and splrut than ln the past number of years lm ,-f' lv' XML ff ' ,, Cl' S XL- 'A lx

Penny Relgns And G H S Wins The splrlt at G H S was a hot spot during homecoming week Home coming candidates and representa tives were chosen from each class Candndates from the sensor class were Penny Buss and escort Danny Kreager Marla Troyer and escort Dennis Howard and Pattl Teall and her escort Make Edwards Representing the underclassmen were 1unlor Nancy Troy escorted by Bob Nuchols and sophomore Sandy Yoder who was escorted by Chrus Graff The end of the game found Penny the queen and our Goshen Redskins vlctorlous over Dekalb.
