We laughed and cried but we did not find ourselves alone because, through it all, we had our fellow schoolmates to share all the good and bad. il For approximately 825 students and 53 faculty members, it became quite evident that the school year would focus on people. Did someone once say that it is people which make up a place? Well, if they didn't they should have because this was the change everyone found at Goshen High School. It was a year of expanded activity, of exciting sports' contests, of enthuastic club activity, and of improving personal relationships. Almost Anything Goes, an interschool amateur athletic contest, captured the interest ofthe student body as did convocations, job placement through the guidance department and various clubs and organizations. lntoductlon 3

J Advertising Index . . . challenged us to the point where we became more perceptive than ever. We had the opponunity to participate in a workshop which involved teachers, parents, students, and supportive help. We knew what we felt meant something to those who made the decisions which affected us. Our feelings were truly heard and this attitude prevailed through the entire school year. Beliefs-the quality of trust and confidence placed in a person or thing- was truly witnessed in many of the activities at GHS, something that was not such an important part of students' lives in the past. The individual did become important at GHS. The individual did become the center of activity. Introduction 5
