427' .rfb 4 I, , The Ings d . . . A building recorded as the oldest high school structure in Elkhart County has looked the same to students for many years, but if one would take a closer look as we did when we reported back to school in August,we found many changes had taken place within the building. Despite renewing acquaintances, meeting new friends, and getting the feel for school, students found that a new attitude was in the air with the addition of a new principal, assistant principal, and two new teachers. We were told how important it was to be ourselves and to do our best, which hinted that student relationships would be improved over past years. lt wasn't long before small groups and cliques became less apparent and respect for each other started to take hold more than ever before. lntoductlon 2

il For approximately 825 students and 53 faculty members, it became quite evident that the school year would focus on people. Did someone once say that it is people which make up a place? Well, if they didn't they should have because this was the change everyone found at Goshen High School. It was a year of expanded activity, of exciting sports' contests, of enthuastic club activity, and of improving personal relationships. Almost Anything Goes, an interschool amateur athletic contest, captured the interest ofthe student body as did convocations, job placement through the guidance department and various clubs and organizations. lntoductlon 3
