DOLLAR sumer's dollar will buy '7!iHt ' students wanted and needed An Understanding of Government GHS students indeed wanted to know and, for that matter, realized they needed to know and understand the governmental system if, in fact, they were to begin to take that one small step toward becoming an informed and knowledgeable citizen. For the first time in many years, young people began to take notice that govemment affected their daily lives. All at once government and related courses became alive as the instructors had a chance to relate what the students were reading in their textbooks to real life situations. Indeed, Watergate and everything associated with it will go down as a historial event, possibly it will reahirm what our Founding Fathers intended: government for the people by the people, and not government for the people by the govemment. 000 Slhlll stop 17
