Always demonstrating an active interest in youth, with under- standing and helpfulness for their problems, he is known to us as a friend indeed. Mr. Walter has shown his ability as a leader, not only by his success in carrying out the duties of a superintendent of schools, but also by his previous service as principal in the Goshen High School.
