During the Hunger Emphasis week in No- vember, the club publicized the Fight for Food television programs and co-sponsered discussion groups following the programs. They continued to raise awareness by placing miniature billboards on the cafeteria tables, emphasizing the complex third world hunger problem. The club explored the job possibilities for their graduates in Home Economics. A panel of recent Home Economics grads, a presentation by members of Home Economics in Business and a regional student Home Economics conference in Chicago provided insights for career oppor- tunities and handles for getting those jobs. A Chapel, Kids of the Kingdom prompted by the International Year of the Child, led the student body to reflect on the role of children ir1 the Kingdom of God. Dr. Evelyn Rouner, guest lecturer for the Olive G. Wyse Honor Lectureship, spoke on the competencies needed for improv- ing the well-being of the world's children. Charlotte Shrag 29
