A. Gish We are all Thoreaus, caught in an intense struggle to find ourselves. Our goals may be less well defined and our woods far less secluded, but our search for life is the same, and is, as was Thoreau's, ironically complex. A new trimester brings with it new resolutions and anticipations of discovery that shatter in the hollow emptiness of a meaningless course required for credit hours. Enrollment goes down as tuition rises and job shortages threaten graduates. Art Gish challenges us with radical discipleship. We plan Come and See Chapels and, looking inside ourselves, find nothing.
