Philip Bedsworth GC-a Goshen collage of people shifting, changing, coming and going. Our faces speak of an odyssey woven of now decisions, moments ofliberation, sighs ofhad it-ness, carefree frivolity, inward probings. All ofus, interpreters oflife. We wondered what would make this year. On election day we went fishing, trying to ignore the political gloom that stifled the outside world and crept into our little community. We read the headlines- Nixon, Columbia riots, the Czechoslovakian invasion Apathy froze us inside ourselves. The silent majority reigned. Frustration pushed against our walls of inhibition. We mobbed the dorms. We rocked and souled. And we found that our moods changed from disillusionment to laughter and absurdity to love and peace and back and forth up and down. From each other we learned new tensions and new harmonies, sensing that the people ofthis year were a part of our search for truth- as it were.
