TO SOME it was Indian Summer, to others fall. Whatever you called it, October and November were good months at Goshen--snappy nights, drizzly days, and the smell of burning leaves hanging about one's nose. New students remarked that the week of rain was real wet. Old students said, This is nothing--last year we had rain every day for a monthl BETWEEN THE SHOWERS, Audubon Club members scoured the woods before the birds started south fcenter leftl. Scrambled eggs at the college cabin rewarded those brave enough to crawl out of bed for the early morning trek. Presi- dent of this group of bird lovers was Donald Horst, with Alta Schrock faculty sponsor. INTRAMURAL SOFTBALL competition flourished in lndiana'sautumn weather. Slim crowds eliminated stage fright, games were exciting, and the fellowship lasting. What more could sports fans want--except a winning team. Junior I team was awarded that satisfaction as they came out on top of the boy's softball shuffle.
