s SANFORIJ CALVIN YODIQR. ISA., LLB.. l'1-tnmlwrf The great need of this day is not more knowledge hut the right kind or knowl- rdgeg not more culture-much as that is needed-hut more character. Schools are .ume-rous, teachers are plentiful, and hooks are cheap. Any one who desires to become learned may do -o. This situatfon presents a challenge to the Christian college whose duty it is to teach people to think correctly, to choose wisely, to live nohly. and to die happy. A life that is lived for self. and a character that is moral without heing Christian, is a failure when viewed in the light of eternal values, but a life that is hidden away with Christ in God and lived in the spirit of Him who came not to be ministered unto hut to minister is the highest and hest to which man can attain, both here and hereafter. ,K , PAGE EIGHTEEN
