'Mis-1 L sr le A5 oe mm o N Our Athletic Association for this year was limited chiefly to high school students and teachers. No extensive campaign was carried on to enlist outside patrons in View of the fact that it is always a difficult problems to get them notified of meet- ings and to furnish transportation for outings. We did emphasize that patrons were welcome, and several joined our ranks. The usual membership fee of fifty cents was charged, and each member was given a current basketball schedule card. This initial fee, however, had no effect on the price of admission to our games. Qi The big outing of the year was a super, super supper held at Fort Kaskaskia. Everyone was responsible for his own food. Wieners, bacon, and marshmallows seemed most popular. 'We built our fire and ate lunch on the bluff high above the mighty Miss- issippi. -A,-',i Kelly took Mr.Medglin's bus, and it was crammed for beyond true capacity with happy carefree Hvagabonds for a nightfn4,Ef The weatherman has consistently conspired against as this spring, but we're still planning a mammoth hike. iQ,f,csdfit t 'Early after organization the association chosenthehfolhemw ing: ' .A 1 1 ,ef Q ' lf Bill Galew?resident Bill Butlermvice President Joan Kessel-Secretary Lula Jare Crain-Door Keeper June Kempher-Door Keeper Virginia L.Rosenberge:-Cheer Leader Marjorie A.Lunsford-Cheer Leader 79
