LJ 3,1 ixw i 41:3 fi fl l,f fnj Ciz lQj jfx nfl -... - 3 X . N-f a - In past years it has always been customary for the Senior and Junior Classes each to give a play. Last fall the Senior Play was presented on schoduleg but this spring when it was time for us to begin planning ours, we had no gymansium and con sequently no stage. We put on our thinking caps and evolved the plan of presenting a general program which could very well ade apt itself to the grade school music room. We can't say as yet that it was an unexcelled success, for as the annual goes to press, our program is still in the form- ative stage, but a success it must and will be with the follo- wing talent performing at highest effecienoy. We plan to open our entertainment with a recording of The Star Spangled Banner and a general pledge of allegiance to our flag, Sylvia Saul and James Korando will then prove in a short domestic skit HPlease Pass the Creamn that the contents of a cream pitcher is cream regardless of its consistency. Chester Lee Brown will follow with a Saxaphone solo. The Junior Chorus with Virginia Lee Rosonberger and J. R. Crain taking solo parts will then sing HDon't Sit Under the Apple Tree.U These same two singers with the assistance of Harold L. Clendenin and Ted Phillips next appear in the musical burlesque HThe Villain Still Pursued Her.H He is successful too. Following this will be a musical interlude by the Korando boys. The last short play is to be HPa's New Housekeeper,H with Preston Rutherford, Edward Reames, Park Jarrett, Betty St ephens, and Joan Kessel as actors. The evening's entertainment will close with the Junior f Chorus singing a few such songs as HDeep in the Heart of Texasu HYou're a Sap, Mr. Jap,H and UAmerica.U fi rxd' N 'f r we up my , pf, x J!
