Senior Class Presents Pomp And Circumstances On November 6 and 7, the senior class performed the play Pomp and Circumstances. Lorraine has had her share of grief. Not only have her parents divorced, but she has no idea what her future holds for her. Graduation is looming and she must present the senior gift. The pressure just seems to keep building. Lorenzo Fuller, an old friend of Lorraine's has fallen in love with her and wants to help, but Lorraine will have nothing to do with him. She has eyes for someone else. Mrs. Johnson, a first year English teacher wants to help too, but she has troubles of her own. Meanwhile havoc seems to be breaking loose all over the school. Finally, Lorraine can take no more, so she runs away. The entire school is frantic. Will Lorraine come back to graduate and work her problems out? Cast of Characters (In order of appearance). Juniors Staged On The Edge Of A Dream Prom The 1988 GFHS Prom, On the Edge of a Dream , ivas held May 7 in the high school gym. The festivities began at 7 PM with the young adults gazing at the decorations that the juniors had worked on for the last few days; they were then served a fine meal catered by Chubbies Catering. The dancing commenced after the reading of the Senior Wills and Class Prophesy. The After-Prom ivas held at Camp Palmer with prizes given away for games of chance. At 2 AM a Gong Show was held followed by a 4:30 AM breakfast. A good time was shared by all who attended. to PROM
