Gene Schaffner Maynard Raker Dick Martin wr minims this iitmmik We proudly dedicate this book to the boys pictured above and to their instructor, Mr. Green. They achieved honors which come to a school rarely. In the 1954 general live stock judging they placed first in District Number one competing with twenty-three other schools from North Western Ohio. Richard Martin had the high individual score. They also placed first in the state competing with two hundred eighty-seven schools. Maynard Raker had the high individual score competing with eight hundred sixty-one boys. In the National Judging Contest at Kansas City there were forty-four state teams. Our team was one of the six teams to receive a gold rating. This is as high an honor as is given in national competition. 3 Mr. Green
