We, the Senior Class of ’47, of Fayette High School, being of sound body and weak mind, do hereby make our last will and testament of the Senior Class, in the presence of these weaker witnesses, Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen. TO THE JUNIORS we will our superior intelligence and our sunny disposition. We also give you the honorable distinction of occupying our seats in the study hall. TO THE SOPHOMORES AND FRESHMEN we will our sophisticated manner and our studious minds. CHARLES BAKER wills his 7th and 8th period classes to Martha Treat and his car to Mary Lou Saranac. JOAN BEAVERSON wills her singing ability to Bob Winzeler and her speed (in typing) to Betty Wollet. HELEN BORTON wills her ability to flirt to Marvel D’Lamater and her dimples to Jean Saranac. ROBERTA CORKLE wills her finger nails to Doris Taylor and the education she received at Archbold to Gerald Miller. HOWARD DENNIS wills his bashfulness to Velma Schaffner and his Ford to Dick Givin. RICHARD DULL wills his red hair to Zale Fether and his working ambition to Lyle Towne. NED EVERINGHAM wills his drawing ability to Frances Johnson and his early hours to school to Robert Allen. EVELYN FORD wills her giggles to Roger Goble and her blonde hair to Eugene Huntley. JOHN FUNK wills his position as editor of the Eaglezette to Colleen Ford and his flirting ability to Robert Krohn. MARY LOU GRAF wills her black eyes to Irene Layman and her ability to argue to Darrel Knisely. .ESTHER HINESMAN wills her complexion to Helen Rice and her tallness to Paul Stockburger.
