School Editor The Wild- cat 5 Dramatics. Class Prophecy Recently I made a tour of the Eastern part of the United Sta te s, visiting all sorts of people and meeting old friends. I was so thrilled to see all of my former classmates and learn of their success. It har dly seemed possible that all of my classmates could have done so well in just ten years. Since I had decided to go by plane from Dalla s to New York, I boarded an American Airline in Dallas. The stewardess wa s standing on the platform helping the passengers into the plane. When I got closer, I n o tic e d that the stewardess was GLENDA MORSE. She had been working as an air-line hostess for two years and really loved her work. After the plane had been in the air for about thirty minutes, a tall, good looking man approached me and began to ask me questions. Much to my surprise it was BUDDY MAYO. He didn't recognize me at first but later laughed and explained that he wa s an FBI agent. He told me that his work was very interesting but that his wife certainly didn't like it. I said good-by to my two former classmates when I got off the plane at New York. One of the fir st things that I did in New York was to go to a baseball game be twe en the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Indians. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw JOHN JONES playing second base for the Indians. After the ball game I tried to see him, but I couldn't for his many fans. I had planned a big day for my final fling in New York, but unfortunately I took a cold. I was afraid it would get worse and spoil the rest of my trip, so Ilooke d for a doctor's telephone number in the directory. I noticed the name CHARLES GAITHER, MD. , and wondered if this could be the same Charles that I knew in Goree High School. When I met hirn, my question was answered for it was he. Charles had g one far in his chosen pro- fession. The next day I flew on to Washington, D. C. Naturally, the first thing I vi s i te d was the Capitol Building. In the Hou s e of Representatives a familiar looking man walked up to me and ask if I r e c ogni z ed him. When I looked clo s ely, I discovered that it wa s DOYLE LOWRANCE. He was a Representative from Texa s and on his way to an im- portant c ommi tte e meeting. He was married and had three fine children. During our chat, Doyle told me that THERESIA JAKUBEC was also in Washington. She was employed with a big corporation as a private secretary. She was very happy to see me and spent the rest of the day showing me the city. Before leaving Washington I bought a newspaper to read while flying to the next stop. In the society page there was a big picture of LINDA JOYCE LAMBETH and DONNA SUE JETTON. They were partners in a big dress business and had just returned from Paris with many new styles. They were both engaged to rich playboys. On my last stop before reaching home, I found that MONA MOBLEY and he r husband were both coaches in the same high school. Mona was also teaching English. Her basket- ball girls had won state for the past two year s. Bidding Mona good-by at the airport, I boarded the plane and headed back home to Goree. I'll never forget my tour of the Eastern part of the United States. It will be something that I'll remember all the rest of my life.
