The school motto, ad viros faciendosw- to the making of men, is the keystone upon which the new administration will augment the traditions ol' Gordon Tech. Father Wal- ter M. Wilczek, CR, the new principal, changed the school seal and a new student handbook was organized. Students were placed on a track system to enable them to work with those of their own ability. Classes were lengthened and the study period was placed in the middle of the day. The grading sys- tem was changed to letter grades and the quarter semester system was adopted. Stu- dents were also ollered various types ol' elec- tives to complement their curriculum. Departments were organized so that all meet monthly with their chairman, who in turn, meet with the principal and discuss pertinent details covered during the individual meetings. The student council also took on a new format. The Guidance Department suggested candidates for the various class of- ficers on the basis of their past scholastic achievement. W v Rev.
