A healthy body means a healthy mind. The healthier and stronger the body, the more services an individual can render to the growth of culture, to the strength and future of the country, and to the spreading of the Kingdom of God. Having good health and a sound body takes more than gym classes at school. One must be Willing to face physical exertion in all situations. An athletic student also participates in sports of all kinds such as football, baseball, basketball, and track. These sports develop the body through organized games, and foster true sportsmanship through competitive endeavors. With a healthy body and a sound mind, one can look forward to a secure and happy future. One will be physically fit to assume the burden of the ever-present ten- sions and pressures of living. You may be Christian but be men, neglect neither the soul nor the body in education

A Catholic may attain perfection by exerting his strength for the gooa' of neighbor and soeiegf Almost everything we do in our lives is done in groups. We go to school with a class, execute sports in groups, and live among a social group at home. One must be able to adjust socially to the persons around him in order to be a success. The best and only way to adjust to these settings is to respect and love others. We show our respect for others by doing things for them. Social life includes our pleasure. How We spend our leisure time at home or at school is a reflection upon our character and our maturity. The main aspect of social life is an unseliish love of neighbor. By doing good for others We benefit our- selves. If we are able to judge our neighbor and social situations correctly, we show strong character. lO
