For the installation of the officers, a dinner was held at Shoney's in Fort Oglethorpe. The club helped the Older American Center as their indepth project. They taught the senior citizens disco lessons, gave them a Thanksgiving centerpiece, Christmas caroled to them, and various other things. FHA had the honor of having a state officer in the club. Melanie Coulter held the office of music and' recreation chairperson for the state of Georgia where she furnished entertainment and planned the meetings. The club would like to express their sincere appreciation to Mrs. Joan Hendrix for sponsoring the club the first half of the school term. 117
