Science Fair '75 The ninth annual Science Fair, sponsored by the Science Club, was held February 7 and 8 in the old cafeteria. Projects were judged in such categories as Microbiology, Botany, Chemis- try, Earth and Space Science, Engineering, Math, Natural Resources, Physics, Astronomy, Behavioral and Social Sciences, and Zoology. Twenty students received ratings high enough to make them eligible for the Region Science Fair held in Rome. Tom G1enn's project received a first place at Rome and also in the State Science Fair in Athens, Georgia. As a result of Tom's hard work, he was pre- sented the Physical Science Award.

Lee H i gh Places Thzm' zn Regzon Lzterary M eet The Class-B Literary meet was held March 21 at Berry College in Rome. Lee High students placed in eight of fifteen events, giving Gordon Lee a total of 32V2 points and a third place. Bremen, with a total of 89 points placed first, while Adairsville ranked second with 45 points. The following students placed in the top four of their events. Cheryl Chap- pell, 2nd in typing: Greg Groves, 2nd in spelling: the quartet, Frankie Bar- ber, Matt Oliver. Carl Quinn, and David Eason, 3rdg and Grif Glenn, 3rd, Extemporaneous Speaking. Malivia Berry placed 4th in Piano Solo: Andy Jones tied for 4th in Boys' Solo: Trin Wooten, 4th, Essay: and Rhonda Caldwell took 2nd in Home Economics. ,CNC A 128

Twenty-Three Senzors Honored zn Who s Who 7 The Who's Who Pageant, spon- sored by the Junior Class, was held February 15 in the high school auditorium. There were twelve categories with two stu- dents selected from each as superlatives. The categories were as follows: Best Dressed. Best School Spirit, Most Talented, Wittiest, Most Popular. Most Intellectual, Best Looking, Most Likely to Suc- ceed, Most Dependable, Most Athletic, Friendliest, and Best A11 Around.
