oach Chappell Honored by , s, fn Senior Gridmen The annual Football Banquet was held December 14,'19'75, in the elementary cafeteria. Pete Wilson, former record breaking quarterback at ETSU, was the guest speaker. After dinner, letterrnen certificates were awarded and all four year let- termen were presented an award . Russel Brown received the Most Valuable Player Trophy. The Most Valuable Defensive Player Trophy was presented to David Maner and Mike Ray and Matt Oliver shared the Most Valuable Offensive Player honors. After awards were pre- sented, Monty Hill and David Maner, representing the senior foot- ball players, presented Coach Chappell a plaque in appreciation for his guidance during the past four years.

Lee Debaters Place Second in Region The Gordon Lee Debate Team took a 2nd place at Region com- petition at Berry College. The topic for this year's debate team was Resolved: That the U.S. should significantly change the method of selecting Presidential and Vice-Presidential candi- dates.
