Homecoming festivities were climaxed Friday night, October 25, as the 1974 Homecoming Queen, Holly Washington, was crowned by captains Monty Hill, David Maner, and Russel Brown in pre-game ceremonies. After the crowning ceremony the Tro- jans beat the Armuchee Indians 40-0 keeping their hopes alive for a region title. Friday afternoon was marked by a large turn out for the annual Homecoming Parade. The Freshman class won the hall decorating contest and the Sophomores won the float contest with their float entitled Wampum Up Side de Head. Members of the court included: Seniors - Terri Bowman, Sherry Blevins, Susan Thompson, Holly Washington: Juniors - Laura Crowder, and Teresa Pierce: Sophomores - Janie Baker and Cindy Parrishg Freshmen - Kathy Barrett and Connie White.
