The exploits and family traits of the Chief were so blazoned on his house walls that his neighbors— Sarcee and Pigan, Blood and Blackfoot — were properly impressed. These symbols of accom¬ plishment maintained reputation and leadership. The beginning of Advertising is still a picture. Commerce responds most readily to the pictured page. The Chief Tepee ' is well known by the quality of its illustrated appeals.
