The Popoffs and Frys are fighting again. It all started when one of the Popoff boys said he was going to shoot an old skunk, and acci- dentally shot Paw Fry instead. Mountain Maggie QJanice Luedersl and Emmy Fry CCaro1 Messerichl are getting tired of the feud but for differ- ent reasons. Mountain Maggie travels through the hills nursing the sick and tending those injured in the fighting. Emmy's sister Rosie Belle CDonna Adamsl, being handy with a gun has taken the only unat- tached male from under her nose. might end up as an old maid, but feudin' with. She is about to shoot Mountain Maggie and Zeke Popoff QJames Pokornyj when the Travelin' Preacher CEdwin Andresenl arrives for his annual visit. Anyone wanting to get married has to do so now or else wait until the preacher returns next year. Mountain Maggie fixes up a drink for Maw Fry that will put her in a trance and she and Pappy Popoff cag get married. But in the middle of the wedding, Rosie Belle drinks the drug and turns into a sweet and charming girl. She awakens from the trance and grabs her gun.
