SENIOR PROPHECY It is the year 2000 A.D., and we, the Seniors of 1956, are here in the beautiful new stadium that has been erected in this great metropolis of Goose Lake, and dedicated to us. Nearly one million people from all parts of the world are seated here viewing this the last baseball game of the season. CARL FANGER, famous sports announcer on station GLHS, is giving the playebyhplay details of this great game. DONNA ADAHS has again taken the mound for the Goose Lake Jettettes -- she's winding-up - she lets the ball fly, and it's an out - the last out for the game. This has been a very close game - the score is lb-2 in favor of the Jettettes. They are n w the new International Champions. The crowd is going wild - everyone is streaming out onto the field to offer his congratulations and to yell his heartout. Since this was the last gene of the year and also the championship game, we have with us all of the members of the Class of '56. Everyone of this class has risen to great fame, fortune, and popularity. O e of the foremost in the sports world today is the world-famous ROBERT STOECKEB who has followed in the footsteps of Toose Gatum of the Garlen Globerunners. It is said that he has become so great fat least in his own estimation! that he is thinking of dispensing with the remaining four members of his team, thereby becoming the first one-man basketball team in history. There in the far corner of the stadium is Professor EDWIN ANDRESEN, a teacher of Physics at the Jones University. I . Andresen built and dedicated the University to the memory of a former physics teacher he had while attending Goose Lake High School. And, over there is Irs. Liberache, the former KA! SCH IDT. She is directing the transportation of her miniature ivory piano with its four-can led candelabra which she intends to use at the program to be given later this evening. Coming down the field in her orange Cadillac convertible is the one and only AUDREY STOLK, model and stylist of the TV show, 'The Big Handout.' She is wearing one of her beautiful creations - a crisscrossed crimson and char- treuse velvet evening gown with a green mink jacket and contrasting orange accessories. Riding with her are three of her former classmates - LOLA IAD- DOF, CAROL IESSERICH, and JANICE LUEDERS. Miss laddof has devoted her life to the hunting and capturing of ferocious animals. CShe has also been hunt- ing for a man.l Lola plans to take a journed to the moon and outer space in the very near future as she claims it is a very dull existance here on earth. As head nurse of the New York University Clinic, lies lesserich has done many outstanding and courageous deeds which have helped to cure our simpler ill- nesses. Right now she is experimenting with fleas, grasshoppers, and other small pests which she claims are so necessary for the preservation and feed- ing of wild animals in the ju gle lands of lest Goose Lake. Janice has spent all of her life at work at the Steckley Hybrid Seed Corn Plant where she now holds the position of manager. This plant has made the most improvements of all seed corn plants in the world. The latest scientific development by this great company has been the growing of multi-colored popcorn balls and caxmel corn in large, giant, and thrifty-sized packages. RICHARD IILDER has become very popular as the game warden of Arrowhead Lake. Richard was a great sportsman during his high school days and shortly after graduation decided to become a game warden. Through his great work with the animals living at the Arrowhead Reserve, Richard has done much to make hunting and fishing easier. His latest work has been to build small cabins

Taking time off from his very busy work is JAMES BURKEN who is now a scientific farmer. One of his greatest achievements was the filling-in of part of the slough. This he planted to mulberry bushes. Jim has always been very fond of mulberries and therefore decided to raise and sell them. We're told that he raises the largest berries in the world. He is also engaged :Ln the growing of eggplant which are ready to be shipped to market at any time. The Class of '56 also has its members who are interested in hair. JAMES POKORNY is a flat-top specialist who is very fussy about his work. It has been said that each lock of hair is measured to within 11614 of an inch and that his flat-tops are so straight that he uses a level to see that the hair is complete- ly flat on top. The former LIBILLE CRADERT has established lleyer's Beauty Shop in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she specialises in the fixing of poodle cuts. And believe it or not, after she is finished with a customer she actually looks like a poodle. It is our great pleasure to have with us today IIARVEL KROIIIANN, a Home Economics teacher. llarvel was so delighted with her home-making work that she decided to enter the teaching field. To this day she has been trying to make banana fritters, but she has never succeeded in making them the same as she did for her semester examination. Only because of tragedy in the family of THERESA llcDONALD are we able to have her with us today. She returned home two days ago to attend the funeral of her beloved cat, General MacArthur. Theresa has been touring the world with her famous tamed cat show. She is planning to take a tour to outer space as soon as accommodations can be arranged. ELAINE KNUTSEN, physics teacher at Goose Lake High School, is very busy getting ready for the school term as she writes out the tests which she plans to give in the fall. She felt it was very necessary that she continue working today, thus she brought along her desk and is sitting in the dugout hurriedly writing questions. The greatest member of the Class of '56 might be JAMES llcDONALD. He be- came world famous for his great debates. He first became interested in debates in high school. From then on he continued to take part in debates and was soon traveling around the world expressing his views on all questions. It was plan- ned that he should speak at the program this evening, but, due to a long debate in which he took part, he has lost his voice. A large portion of this crowd is due to the thoughtfulness of the former MARILYN DIEDRICH. She was determined to bring all 250 of her children, grand- children, and great-grandchildren with her today. She is seated in the middle section with her family and seems to be enjoying the game immensely. ' Last but certainly not the least, we have with us DONALD CAVANAGH, brick- layer for the addition being built at GLHS. He is a very fast worker as he has laid bricks for five years and today is the first day he has taken off. And so that is the last of the twenty seniors who graduated from Goose Lake in '56. They have all gone different ways in the world, but today are reunited to enjoy themselves at GLHS. And now, this is station GLHS signing off and wishing each and everyone here the best of luck.
