The second and succeeding games, however, presented a different story. At our game with Welton we won with a score of 13 to l. And- rew and Elvira likewise fell prey to our power, and because of our victories we were entitled to play for the championship game. This we played against Lowden on their home field and won by a score of 21 to ll to earn the Sectional Cham- pionship trophy. Having won the Sectional Championship, we again returned to Lowden to play against Stanwood in the District Tournament. Again we won, and by a score of 17 to 6. The second game that we played in the District was against New Vienna at Colesburg. New Vienna proved strong opposition and beat us by a score of lh to 13.
